• 6 inch, 30:1 air-cooled extruder with AK's unique Turbo-Air cooling. As featured previously in AKcelerator, Turbo-Air provides cooling efficiency approaching water-cooling. This machine provides a complete cut-away view so you can see all of the details of this super-efficient air-cooling system.
  
  
• 2.5 inch, 24:1 top-mounted, air-cooled co-extruder - mounted above the 6-inch primary extruder. This versatile machine offers a full range of movement to optimize alignment and maintenance, while providing for greater utilization of plant floor space.
  
• 3.5 inch, 24:1 water-cooled extruder with NEW LOW COST TOUCH SCREEN SYSTEM. The new AKtive (American Kuhne Touch…Interactive…Visual…Extrusion) Control System provides the following features previously found in similar systems costing two to three times as much.
  - 10 inch color touch screen
  - Storage for up to 100 recipes
  - Real time process data trending
  - Multi-loop temperature control rack to
    control extruder barrel and die temperatures
  - Optional coordinated control for puller drive
  - Optional pressure control loop for melt pump
